BSB - MIB Short Trip

Last July we had a short trip to Brunei Darussalam (BSB) which practice 'Melayu Islam Beraja' (MIB). We drove our Mini Cooper aka Kelisa to Brunei via vehicle ferry. Afraid to bring the Myvi though as BSB's government does not permit tinted vehicle in Brunei - will be instructed to strip the tinted on the spot if you were to be spotted. It takes one hour from Labuan ferry terminal to reach Muara ferry terminal. A trip each day only. Sharing a few tips:

Fare:
Vehicle: RM120 / BND50 (be it compact, saloon or 4WD)
Driver: Free
Adult: RM30 / BND15
Kids: RM15 / BND8
Infant: Free

*You are not allowed to buy through & fro ticket. Must buy the return ticket at Brunei terminal.

What you need to bring:
1. Valid Passport (International or Brunei Limited)
2. Ferry Ticket
3. Vehicle Declaration Card
4. Cash in BND (hehehehe)
5. Credit Card (just in case)

What you need to know:
1. Brunei Limited passport is only RM50 for 5 years
2. No tinted car in Brunei
3. Less or no motorcyclist
4. Do not bring the 'beras wangi' out
5. Foods are expensive
